Birth is a transformative experience. I’m here to support you as you step into that strength, however your story unfolds.

My Values

  • A trained support person to stand at your side regardless of hospital or birth center setting and whose sole responsibility is to keep you feeling powerful and safe. My hope is to, when necessary, create a bridge from your healthcare provider to you so that you maintain peace of mind through all aspects of your birth.

  • In one of the wealthiest nations
on Earth, giving birth safely and
    with adequate support should
    be a guarantee — not a gamble
    determined by your income or
    zip code. Compassionate,
    personalized birth support is a
    necessity — not a privilege.

  • Mothers should walk away from
    their birthing experience feeling
proud of the journey and at the
    very least, prepared for
    motherhood.

BHAM DOULA

It all began with love. My partner Patrick and I moved to Bellingham at the tail end of 2020. Completely swoon over the mountain bike scene and the surrounding community. Seven months into our living here we discovered we were pregnant. Surprise! Finley, our son, would change everything. The free time of covid would soon fade and responsibilities began piling up. We went from selling tie-dye bike jerseys out of our garage to contributing to society in a ways that might earn a regular pay check. I decided pretty early in my pregnancy I would go back to school. I never dreamed I would aspire to be a nurse but suddenly it was the only thing that made sense at all. Fast forward nearly three years and here we are. Our family is deeply entrenched in this beautiful community of Bellingham. Our son has the best quality of life I could have imagined by growing up in such a place. Doula work began as something I pursued to fulfill my healthcare experience for nursing school and soon bloomed into a heart exploding passion. I have never felt more honored to stand beside someone or more marveled by life until now. I can’t wait to meet you and your baby!
